My question for Mary involves the stories of the women who survived the Alamo siege and battle. Do you think there is a way to integrate and better expose their stories into the overall narrative of the Alamo, both as part of the on-site experience and in the overall sense of what most people “know” about the Alamo? If so, how open do you think the DRT and the state of Texas would be to such an idea? Lastly, what obstacles would need to be overcome to help these women’s stories be told at the site? Thanks for the great read!
